Meet the Crunchers: Kyle Dungca, Head of Industry Solutions
We are highlighting stories from some of the amazing Crunchers that make Document Crunch successful. In today’s post, we speak with Kyle Dungca, Head of Industry Solutions.
What is your position at Document Crunch and what do you do in your role?
Head of Industry Solutions. I am mainly responsible for developing and implementing strategies to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities for the company. To accomplish this, my team and I work closely with our other departments (Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales) to identify customer needs, develop solutions, promote them to target markets, and track KPIs.
How would your fellow employees describe you?
Idk, let’s ask them I guess!
“Kyle is an extremely knowledgeable professional who is well-intentioned, versatile and an out of the box thinker, and to top it all off, he is as kind as anyone you'd have the pleasure of meeting!” – Whitney Pilla.
“Kyle is everything you’d hope for in a coworker: he is passionate about the work he is doing, collaborative, energetic, and always up to help out which makes him a great teammate and friend!” – Becca Schutzius.
“"Exploding with fun and energy, the right guy to bring people together in a collaborative and productive effort in order to make a difference in the world." – Klay Jones.
“The best person of all time <3 <3 <3” – Maddie Hagy.
“This one question could take me all weekend…” - Will Meurer.
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
Lived 5 years on my grandfather’s chicken farm in the Philippines!
Who or what inspires you the most?
Easy, family.
What drew you to Document Crunch?
When Adam Handfinger first approached me in January 2019 asking me if I would be interested in helping start an AI company, I don’t think he finished asking the question and I already committed and said yes. I recently, at the time, had opportunities through some law school classes to see the emergence of tech in law and just knew that this had the potential to be special. And it certainly has been.
What do you like most about being a Cruncher?
Being at the intersection of tech, business, and law. Being at forefront of innovation. Being able to use the skills and knowledge I picked up during law school differently and creatively. But most importantly, being able to do all of this with the best and brightest people I know.
