Meet the Crunchers: Ali Heyat, Legal Intern

What is your position at Document Crunch and what do you do in your role?

I just kicked off my journey as a Legal Intern, squeezing in hours between classes to work with the legal team. So far, I’ve been getting into contracts and training our AI to understand different provisions.

What is a surprising or fun fact about you?

I started my career working for a construction company and decided to make the switch to law school. I am loving it so far!

Who or what inspires you the most?

Tackling challenging problems energizes me, and I am deeply inspired by the continuous pursuit of knowledge and learning.

What drew you to Document Crunch?

I’ve always had a thing for tech and how it shakes up different industries. At Document Crunch, I get to see this in action, diving deep into the legal and construction worlds. It’s the perfect spot for me to be right where tech meets tradition, and I’m all for the innovative stuff happening here!
